Lakatos, Jeanne I.

Dr. Jeanne I. Lakatos teaches Literature, Creative Process, Composition and Women’s Studies at Western Connecticut State University. She has written extensively on sociolinguistic variables in narratives and has coined the term, the semiotic theory of iconic realism, connecting artistic expression to human consciousness and cultural awareness. She received her Ph.D. from the national Center for Franco-Irish Studies at the Institute of Technology Tallaght, Dublin, Ireland.
